A wonderful Swing Handled Carrier expertly crafted in the Shaker tradition out of Cherry wood with a Bird’s-Eye Maple wood top. Delicate copper tacks secure the swallowtail bands, wood pegs fasten the bands to the box tops and bottoms. Copper trunk rivets with wood spacers allow the handle to swing. No glue was used to create this fine box, it is hand rubbed with an oil finish inside and out.
