A wonderful Shaker Fixed Handled Carrier expertly crafted in the Shaker tradition out of Cherry wood. Delicate copper tacks secure the swallowtail bands, wood pegs fasten the bands to the box bottom. The steam-bent handle is secured with copper tacks as well. No glue was used to create this fine box, it is hand rubbed with an oil finish inside and out.
This Carrier is signed and dated by the box maker and is of the finest quality.
