Where Is Lititz, Pennsylvania?

Lititz is in the heart of Lancaster County Pennsylvania which is known worldwide for its fertile farmland and Pennsylvania Dutch culture. Lancaster County is also home to a large Amish population that continues to work the farms and fields nearby using means & methods that are centuries old. Our town of Lititz is an approximate 1-hour drive from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a 2-1/2 hour drive from New York City and a 1 hour drive from Baltimore, Maryland.

Where Is Your Furniture Made?

All of the Shaker furniture and Shaker wood accessory items that we offer are made in our workshop on location here in Lititz, Lancaster County Pennsylvania by the hands of cabinetmakers & finishers that we employ. The Windsor chair forms would be the exception, these are sourced from associate shops within our Mid-Atlantic USA region.

What Is Shaker Furniture?

Shaker furniture is a style of furniture that is identified by its simplistic beauty & lack of ornamentation. Furniture incorporating Shaker design is made thoughtfully, with functional form & proportion that add to its visual interest. Shaker furniture was first built by a religious group known as The Shakers, who emigrated from England to The New World in the late 1700’s and settled in the New England Region.

Shipping of our products is available and can be selected during checkout in our shopping cart. This rate is a curbside delivery to your home and does not include any carry-in or unpacking services. Depending on your location your furniture will arrive packed safely in a crate or blanket wrapped. In most instances the drivers are very helpful and will assist in getting the delivery onto your driveway or into a garage. White-glove carry-in deliveries are available through quotation, please contact us if you would like a quote for this type service. Furniture can also be picked up at our Factory Showroom in Lititz Pennsylvania, we are happy to help you load up. Please bring plenty of blankets to help get your furniture home safely.

We cleared the land and built our furniture making shop here in 1986. Six years later we added a showroom and named it Shaker Shoppe. The Year 2021 marked our 35th year providing the finest quality authentic reproductions available.

Great for use wherever additional storage is needed, Kitchens, Baths, Bedrooms, Garages, Laundries & Pool Areas can all be improved with this quick and simple storage solution
Shaker Peg Racks are installed on a wall by nailing or screwing through the rail and into a supporting wall structure such as a stud. It gets installed like baseboard or chair rail in a room, with screw or nail holes being filled and sanded before paint. Shaker Peg Rail can also be installed using decorative screws through the face of the rail into the supporting wall structure which enables the peg rail to be easily removed
Peg rail board measures 3/4″ thick x 3-3/16″ wide and has 3/8″ beads on each edge
Pegs are located on the rail/board on 8″ centers
Pegs measure 1″ in diameter at the end and project 3″ from the face of the board / Total projection from wall when installed measures 3-3/4″ which includes the rail/board and the peg
The Shaker Pegs are securely glued and pressed into the rails
