In the heart of Lancaster County Pennsylvania is a town called Lititz...it has been there since 1756

Lititz is a town that The Shaker Shoppe is proud to call home, it is where we chose to raise our children and start our business over 25 years ago. It is a town that is steeped in history, tradition & common values. Lititz is a town that grieves when it sends its sons & daughters off to war and still throws parades when they return.

Our town smells like chocolate and looks like a Norman Rockwell painting. Lititz has been commemorating the anniversary of our Nation's independence since 1818 and throws a 4th of July celebration that is second to none. You can walk down our streets and greet those you encounter on a first-name-basis and know that they are happy to see you.

Lititz is where we practice our art of fine furniture making using traditional joinery, methods and tools... to craft by hand what cannot be mass produced in a factory. Like our town, the furniture that we craft will stand the test of time. We feel strongly that our furniture will become heirlooms within the family of the purchaser... and we craft it with just that in mind.

It takes hard work, an abundance of quality resources and much pride to build a town like Lititz...we feel the same way about our furniture. There are no shortcuts available or desired.
